We are proud to announce our first BIG tournament, our Komorebi Valorant Grand Series (KGS). It’s our first big tournament and we are very excited to share it with you! Below we have listed all the information for the coming months but regardless, if you have any questions, feel free to contact us directly! We have put a lot of thought and hard work into this so we appreciate each and every one of you! Structure: KGS is a multiple qualifier tournament with a single, big event at the end, similar to Riot’s official VCT. Teams will go through a series of 3 smaller qualification tournaments in which they amount points depending on how well they did. The 8 teams with the most points across the 3 qualifiers compete at the last, grand event, to which there is a prize pool. We chose 3 qualifiers so that if a team has a bad day or bad run, they still have a chance to qualify for the Grand Final. Format: Once again going off the example of VCT, in the qualifiers, teams will be placed into groups of 4, with each team playing each other 1 time in a Best-Of-3. Each win results in 1 point allowing the 2 teams with the most points from each group to advance to the knockout-phase. Furthermore, teams who placed in 3rd in their respective groups will be placed into a new group in which they once again play against everyone 1 time. There, the 2 winners advance to the knockout stage. The rest of the tournament will then also be played with double elimination in Best-Of-Three style with the grand final being a Best-Of-Five. Dates: 1st Qualifier:* July 2nd, 2021 18:00 CET 2nd Qualifier:* July 16th, 2021 18:00 CET 3rd Qualifier:* July 30th, 2021 18:00 CET Grand Tournament:* August 7th, 2021 16:00 CET Prizes: The individual qualifiers not include prize pools as the grand tournament is our main focus and our resources are not unlimited. The grand final will have a prize pool of 50€ with a potential to go up to 200€ depending on the amount of participants and viewers. Partners: We would like to give a huge thank you and shoutout to our first ever partner, Vantybite Streaming Service!

*Al qualifiers take 2 days to play out. We ask that anybody who can NOT take the weekend to play in the tournament not join. We plan for every single team that signs up and everyone who leaves or doesn’t show up disturbs our planning and the flow of the tournament. Should this happen, the offending team will be automatically disqualified.
